Open Enrollment is your once-a-year opportunity to make any changes you want to your CF Voluntary benefits & State Group Insurance benefits. You can change your benefits as many times as you want before the deadline.

If you don't make any changes during Open Enrollment, your current benefits elections will generally carry over automatically to the next plan year. However, you should still review your mailed benefit materials or the State Group Insurance Open Enrollment page to be aware of any premium increases or plan changes and to ensure your dependent's eligibility and information are correct, as the state's insurance plans are for the calendar year, not a rolling year.

The State of Florida will be distributing benefit plan information.  Please verify that your email and mailing address are correct to ensure that your benefits plan information is delivered.

  • State Group Insurance through the People First website.
    • Visit the  Open Enrollment site for information on State Group Insurance/People First.  This is where any updated information, benefit guides, and other resources will be available to you as we get closer to Open Enrollment.
    • Log in to People First if you want to make any changes, additions, or drop in coverage. and remember to select the Complete Enrollment button when you are ready to save changes. Make sure all changes are correct, any eligible dependents are enrolled in coverage, and any ineligible dependents have been removed.

  • CF Voluntary Benefits (separate from the state group insurance) Open Enrollment through ADP.
    • This is the time to make any changes to your CF Voluntary benefits.  If no changes are being made, your current benefits will carry over to the next year.

All changes made during Open Enrollment take effect Jan. 1, 2026.
